C L E A N - U P   D A Y

The City of Meadville will be holding a clean-up day on Saturday, April 26, 2008.

City residents may take materials to the old incinerator site on Liberty St. between 8:00 A.M. and 2:30 P.M. Identification may be required.

The following items WILL be accepted:

Furniture and appliances
Demolition Materials (Pickup truckload or less)
Brush and tree limbs
General Rubbish
Auto Parts and Batteries (But not complete vehicles)
Electronics

Items that WILL NOT be accepted:
Anything listed as hazardous materials
Paint in liquid form
Chemical fertilizer
Insecticides
Tires
Any materials collected as recyclables
Earth, rocks, ashes, etc.

Items that are primarily metal should be kept separate from other refuse. Also brush and tree limbs should be separated.

Any appliances that have contained Freon (air conditioners, dehumidifiers, refrigerators and freezers) MUST have the removal certification tag attached.
