Recycling

Recycling is picked up on alternating weeks.  Glass, metal and plastic one week and paper and magazines the opposite week.

Refuse and recycling regulations are listed with the Recycling Calendar.

Refuse

Refuse is collected weekly according to the map.

Collection areas are depicted on the attached map.

There will be no collection on the holidays noted on the calendar. Collection will be one day late for the remainder of that week.

Refuse/Recycling containers may not be placed at the curb for collection before 5:00 p.m. (prevailing time) on the day before the scheduled collection and empty containers must be removed within twenty-four (24) hours after the collection.

Tags are now required for large items, appliances with freon and extra bags.  These tags are available for purchase at the Meadville City Building.  They are also available for purchase on-line on this web site.
